MBTN & YAM CAREER & NETWORKING EVENT

MBTN and Young African MBAs (YAM) present for the 4th year running, the Annual MBTN and YAM Career DaY & Professional Networking Night to be held at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

Following last year’s successful showing, which featured a keynote discussion with Access Bank Chairwoman, Mosun Belo-Olusoga, and a dynamic entrepreneurship panel, this year’s event is slated to be the most informative and most resounding rendition yet, jam-packed with some exciting additional content that should add flavor to the evening’s professional & networking festivities.

Careers Fair - 2pm Kick Off
The event kicks off at 2pm with a Careers Fair, where some of the most prestigious companies in Nigeria will meet attendees and showcase their open career opportunities. Networking Event - 6pm Kick Off
The networking segment will start with a keynote addres by Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora. She is a former Chair of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs and Chair of the House Committee on Media and Publicity. While in office, she sponsored a number of significant bills that were passed into Law, including: The Freedom of Information Bill; A bill for an act to ensure full integration of Nigerians with physical disabilities and eliminating all forms of discrimination against them; A bill to protect citizens against violence; And a diaspora commission bill.
After the keynote address will be an informative panel discussion, where business leaders and some of Nigeria’s most promising entrepreneurs will share their experiences and thoughts on the on-ground situation in the country.
