In a petition written by Ameachi to the Inspector-General of Police on March 27, 2015, alleging arrest and killing of APC members in Rivers State by the police, Augustine Kachi Nwokocha was listed as number 145 on the list of APC that Ameachi claimed were being threatened and harassed, using Police in Rivers State and Zone 6, Calabar
